Faced with the widespread demand to access these archives and theinterest of SUCCESSIÓ MIRÓ in offering an adequate service, this process manual has been established in which the conditions for consulting and lending out of its library pictures are specified. This is especially important as they are the personal archives of Joan Miró.

This process cannot be compared to some of the public or privateinstitutions, which at times, under the concept of a loan or rental, charge hidden fees for reproductions of Joan Miró which belong solely and exclusively to SUCCESSIÓ MIRÓ as owners of the copyright.

This unauthorized lending is ultimately detrimental to thoseinterested in the pictures, who see the cost of the royalties of Joan Miró to entities that do not have this recognised right.

The archives of Joan Miró are located in the headquarters of SUCCESSIÓ MIRÓ:

Av. Jaime III, 23 1ºB
07012 Palma de Mallorca
